Insurance & Payment Options
Navigating insurance coverage and the financial side of ABA therapy can feel complicated. Our team is here to help families understand their benefits, anticipated financial responsibility, and available payment options so there are fewer surprises along the way.
Insurance & Coverage
Full Spectrum Therapies is in-network with several major insurance providers and Indiana Medicaid. Coverage for ABA therapy varies by individual plan, and our team works with families to verify benefits and obtain required authorizations before services begin.
Accepted Insurance Plans
We are currently in-network with:
- Anthem / BCBS / Carelon
- UHC / Optum / UMR / GEHA
- Aetna
- Cigna
- MHS
- Traditional Indiana Medicaid
Don’t see your insurance listed? Out-of-network services or single case agreements may be available in some circumstances and are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact our office to discuss your specific plan and available options.
Prior Authorization
Most insurance plans require prior authorization before ABA therapy services can begin. Our team will verify benefits and obtain required authorization before the start of services whenever required by your insurance plan. Continued services may also require periodic reauthorization based on your insurance provider’s requirements.
Changes to Your Insurance
Families are responsible for notifying Full Spectrum Therapies as soon as possible of any changes to insurance coverage, including changes to insurance providers, plans, member information, or coverage status. Because most insurance plans require prior authorization for ABA services, delays in reporting insurance changes may result in a lapse or denial of authorization.
Families may be financially responsible for services that are not covered as a result of unreported or untimely reported insurance changes, as permitted by the applicable insurance plan and requirements.
Financial Responsibility
Insurance coverage and authorization do not guarantee payment for services. Families are responsible for applicable cost-sharing amounts under their insurance plan, which may include deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, or other patient-responsibility amounts.
Our team will review available benefit information with families and is happy to answer questions regarding anticipated financial responsibility. Because insurance benefits and claims determinations are ultimately made by the insurance provider, families are encouraged to contact their insurance plan directly with questions about specific coverage or benefits.
Payment Options & Financial Assistance
Payment Plans
Full Spectrum Therapies understands that families may sometimes need additional time to meet their financial responsibility for services. Payment plans may be available to allow an outstanding balance to be paid over time through an agreed-upon monthly payment arrangement.
Families interested in establishing a payment plan are encouraged to contact our office to discuss available options. Payment arrangements are determined based on the outstanding balance and individual circumstances and may be reviewed or modified if circumstances change.
Financial Hardship Assistance
Full Spectrum Therapies recognizes that families may experience financial circumstances that make it difficult to meet their financial responsibility for services. Financial hardship assistance may be available when a family’s circumstances significantly affect their ability to meet an established patient financial responsibility.
Requests are reviewed individually, and assistance is not guaranteed. Depending on the circumstances and applicable insurance or payer requirements, approved assistance may include modified payment arrangements, temporary payment relief, or other adjustments to an outstanding balance.
Questions about the application or need help completing it? Please contact our office. Supporting documentation may be requested when reasonably necessary to evaluate your request.
