Ember Shepherd, MA, BCBA
Program Manager
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master’s degree from Ball State University, where I also earned graduate certificates in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Since 2015, I have been dedicated to the field of ABA and was proud to be one of the first Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in Montgomery County.
My professional passion lies in supporting self-advocacy and empowering families through meaningful parent training. I believe in fostering independence while honoring each child’s unique identity and strengths.
Outside of work, I enjoy photography, gardening, and spending quality time with my husband and our two daughters. It’s a joy to walk alongside children and families as they grow, learn, and thrive.

Shelby Zavesky, BCBA
BCBA
Hello!
My name is Shelby Zavesky, and I have been working in the field of ABA for five years. I began my career as an RBT and quickly realized that working with the neurodiverse community is my passion. After a year as an RBT, I applied to graduate school to become a BCBA. In August 2022, I graduated from Ball State with a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and have been working as a Clinical Supervisor since then.
My approach to ABA emphasizes naturalistic, supportive, and client-centered teaching and motivation. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three pets—two rescue dogs, Waggie and Maple, and a chonky cat named Wenzel. We love spending our evenings and weekends playing board games, hiking, weightlifting, and playing pickleball!
